This Privacy Policy explains how Soundview Partners (“Soundview,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you browse this website or book a stay directly with us. By using this site or making a reservation, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information we collect
When you book or contact us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, stay dates, and the number of guests and pets in your party. To take payment, we collect the card or payment details needed to process your reservation, which are handled by our payment provider, Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our servers. Before arrival, our Guest App may collect additional information you provide, such as identity verification and your signed rental agreement. We also keep records of your communications with us and your marketing preferences, and we receive basic technical information your browser sends automatically (such as device and usage data) that helps us keep the site secure and functioning.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to create, confirm, and manage your reservation; to communicate with you about your booking, including confirmations, check-in details, and any issues during your stay; to process payments and any charges for damage or additional services; to meet our legal, tax, and safety obligations; to protect against fraud and misuse; and, where you have opted in, to send you occasional offers and updates.
4. How we share your information
We share information only as needed to run our business: with Guesty, our property management system, to create and manage your reservation and power the Guest App; with Stripe to process payments; with other service providers who help us operate the site and communicate with you; and with authorities or professional advisors where required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Payment processing
Payments are processed by Stripe under its own terms and privacy policy. Card data is transmitted directly to Stripe and secured by them; we receive only the limited confirmation details needed to manage your booking.
6. Guest App and identity verification
After booking, we send a Guest App link where you complete check-in steps, review your guidebook and house rules, and sign your rental agreement. Information you submit there is processed through Guesty to verify your stay and prepare for your arrival.
7. Marketing communications
If you opt in, we may send you occasional offers and updates. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us, and opting out never affects your ability to book.
8. Cookies and site data
This site uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for it to function, remember your preferences, and keep bookings secure. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features of the site may not work without them.
9. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services, manage your reservation, and meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, after which we delete or anonymize it.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work with established providers such as Guesty and Stripe to help safeguard your data.
11. Your choices and rights

This site and our stays are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
